Trail running

Trail running is one of the most demanding types of running, because the proportion of ascent meters is at least 5% of the total distance. Trail running is a mixture of cross and mountain running. Thus, the route differs from the classic run on asphalt or gravel roads, as it is often run on meadows or fields. In and around Saalbach you will find what you are looking for in the area of speed trails, marathon trails and endurance trails. Don't miss the annual seasonal highlight of the Saalbacher Trail and Skyrace.

The mix of jumps, slides, rope crossings and abseiling passages make the canoying parour unique. The tour can be done in an easy or difficult variant. Different group constellations can experience the adventure together due to the nature of the gorge, the preparation of the team from the high ropes course and the bypassing possibilities of individual passages.
