Ski touring

Glistening snow, sunbeams on your skin, fantastic ascent tracks and breathtaking downhill lines

Know Do you feel when the alarm goes off early in the morning and you can't imagine leaving the Pilch house's warm bed just to step into the dark, cold morning air?

Let yourself be convinced of the opposite! The breakfast buffet at Haus Pilch will lighten your mood so that nothing stands in the way of an early morning ski tour. As soon as the first rays of sun touch your face and you feel the crunch of the snow under your feet, your anticipation increases. In addition, you can enjoy the wonderful view during the ascent and see the summit cross coming closer and closer.

Winter hike

On 140km long winter hiking trails you have the opportunity to experience the fantastic winter landscape of Saalbach Hinterglemm. Since the winter sun is a constant companion on your trip, it is up to you whether you prefer to join a guided group or go on your own discovery tour. With the sun card, sun worshipers can use the mountain railways without ski equipment.

If the sun is not there to illuminate your wintry paths, snowfall also has a very special flair.

Winter relaxation

Golden Gate & amp; Baumzipfelweg

The highest treetop hiking trail in Europe is located at the end of the valley in Saalbach Hinterglemm. The circular route, in combination with the Golden Gate Bridge, is a unique destination in the world and leads 2km through alpine pastures, meadows and forests.

The 1km long tree top path begins at the Lindlingalm and also includes the 200m long Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps.

The Golden Gate Bridge of the Alps is 42m high and spans the head of the valley at the source of the Saalach. Crossing the bridge creates a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. You can also catch a glimpse of the high ropes course, the splendor of which is to the side and under the Golden Gate Bridge.

In summer, the 2km long way there and back can also be covered with the valley head train. In winter you are welcome to cover the route on foot or in a horse-drawn sleigh.

The Baumzipfelweg is the ideal destination for nature lovers, families, school classes, senior citizens or companies.

Horse-drawn sleigh

A unique experience for romantics! Wrapped in a warm blanket, holding your dearest person in your arms and a romantic setting. What can make a day with your loved one more perfect?
The horse-drawn sleigh ride also offers families a relaxed afternoon of leisure activities in the idyllic Saalbach Hinterglemm.
